Huck seed won the 1996 WSOP Main Event and since then has become one of pokers most well known professional live poker players. First place prize money in the 1996 WSOP Main Event was worth $1,000,000 and it was actually Hucks second WSOP bracelet having won the Pot Limit Omaha tournament previously.

Since winning the Main Event Huck Seed has won two other World Series of Poker bracelets and both in Razz poker events. The first coming in 2000 when he won the $1,500 Razz event for $77,400 and the second coming in 2003 when he won the $5,000 Razz poker event for $71,500.

Huck is considered to be one of the toughest Razz opponents on the planet and has written several Razz strategy articles as part of his Full Tilt sponsorship deal. Reports are constantly spotting him playing in the biggest mixed games on the planet which at times have been said to be as big as $5,000/$10,000 blinds.

Hucks Prop Bets

These days Huck is perhaps more famous for the outrageous prop bets he makes most recently beating Phil Hellmuth out over $100,000 in a weight loss bet. It’s said he also once made a bet with Hellmuth about standing in the Ocean for 24 hours straight though no one’s sure if this one actually took place. Other recent prop bets included him getting 33/1 on being able to run a mile in 4 minutes 39 seconds and being able to break 100 five times in just one day using just his putter, sand wedge and five iron.

Possibly Hucks most famous prop bet is the beard bet he made. Huck would have to refrain from shaving for an entire year. Sadly this bet ended up being cancelled three months in when Huck was forced to shave his beard off to attend a member of his families funeral.

NBC Heads Up Champion

Huck Seed has an awesome record in the NBC National Heads Up Championship tournament and in 2009 he took down first place in the event to net himself a $500,000! Hucks NBC Heads Up Championship record is currently played 22 won 18 and lost just 4 of his one on one showdowns. He truly is the most dominant force the Championship has ever seen!

Huck Seed is sponsored by Full Tilt and as a result you’ll find him playing online at Full Tilts online poker room on a regular basis. Huck seems to come out of the woodwork for the big weekly tournaments and for the Full Tilt Online Poker Series.
